The Tall Ship

Primary 4 have focused on lots of work this week related to our social studies topic – The River Clyde.

We had our solo talks this week on our favourite place near The River Clyde. Everyone did so well and was very confident when speaking to the class.

Primary 4 also visited the Tall Ship and the Riverside Museum. We learned lots about the technology used in the past and how the tall ship ended up back in Glasgow. Thank you again to our parent helpers for helping out on the trip! We all had  fantastic time!

18/11/2019 – 22/11/2019

Primary 4 have been busy this week writing film reviews for Mary Poppins returns and designing reflective vests for JRSO to keep us safe.

We have also been looking at new math concepts including multiples and factors.

We finished our week with a great irresistible curriculum lesson building our reading comprehension skills and creating our own artistic drawings of the bridges of the river Clyde.

We focused on the reflection of the water and used cotton buds to create our fantastic pictures!

28th Oct – 1st Nov

Primary 4.20 had a great week starting their Irresistible Curriculum and joining in with lots of spooky activities.

We learned all about the digestive system and made our own models     in class to demonstrate our learning.

We also learned about the circulatory system and what is really in our blood. We used lots of active learning to help us remember the different parts.

For our spooky celebration activities all the pupils wrote their own scary story and shared it with the class in the dark with spooky music. It’s been an excellent week in primary 4.20!
