We were lucky to welcome, a visiting minister from Mearns Kirk, she told us about traditions, religion and celebrations across the world focussing on Pakistan, Vietnam, Germany,  Bolivia and Zimbabwe.

This week, one half of the class organised a showcase for our Mearns Masters gastronomy pathway. We worked hard on planning the showcase, making the menus and invitations and making our dishes. The guests, Peter the janitor, Mrs Cameron and Chris, the cleaner,  were delighted.

The joyous sound of the winter concert rehearsal was how we ended our week. Luckily we were able to watch it. In the rehearsal there was a lot of music and a few fortunate individuals got to perform in it. It was really exciting to watch our friends on stage.
