Is it a bird!

As part of our outdoor leaning, another of learning experiences this term was to take part in a bird watching session. We all wrapped up warm and we’re ready for an afternoon of bird watching in the garden. We were effective contributors to work together with our class friends to point out as many birds as possible.

Windswept

This term one of our 50 things outdoor learning experiences was to explore the feeling of being windswept. It certainly has been a week to experience this, we were all successful learners in making our Scotland flags wave proudly in the wind. Also experience our multi coloured cape flying in the wind whilst we ran.

50 Things Outdoor

One of our activities this term for our 50 things outdoor was to take part in a game of catch.  Within our PE lessons we have been working on throwing and catching a ball with a partner and we also took part in a game of tig.

A class full of confident individuals when taking part in the game of tig and lots of fun was had in the autumn sunshine.

50 Things Outdoors – Go for a walk

We enjoyed a nice cold walk this week to the Kay Park, Cameron could tell us the ‘Pond has froze’ so we watched some ducks enjoy an ice skating session.

We were responsible citizen when crossing the road on our way to the park.

We had a few bird poo incidents thanks to the bridge across the pond, so several of us needed a clean up – including Miss Miller’s face and jumper.
