Today at NCPS, we celebrated Autism Awareness Day by dressing up as what we want to be when we are older. We did this because this years theme is Inclusion in the Workplace. Throughout the day, each class completed lots of fun activities that related to inclusion in the workplace. Have a look at our day below!

A message from the New Cumnock Development TrustÂ

World Book Day 2021
On Thursday 4th March, the whole school enjoyed celebrating World Book Day. Our P1-3 children came into school dressed as their favourite book characters and enjoyed taking part in activities in class such as designing book covers and decorating bookmarks.
Despite our P4-7s being at home Remote Learning, they weren’t going to miss out on the World Book Day fun! They too enjoyed dressing up as their favourite book characters and taking part in activities such as ‘The Masked Reader’ and guessing the book titles from Emojis.
Weekly Round Up 5/3/21
This week we continue to be amazed by the wonderful work going on both in school and at home from our young people!
Don’t forget to check our class blogs too for photos of the learning taking place each week.
Dog Fouling Campaign

We are working closely with the New Cumnock Development Trust to tackle the ongoing issue of dog fouling in our community.
We were delighted to see so many of you create campaign posters!
We would love to have these on display around our village, so can you please bring them with you to school or hand them in at the school main office and we will get them to Tammy at the NCDT.
Thank you!
