We have a variety of school uniform available at our pre-loved clothing bank.
If this is something you would be interest in, please contact Mrs Bradford, our Home Link Practitioner, on her work mobile: 07788124474, stating the size and gender of clothing required.
We are looking for volunteers to be the stagehands in our upcoming school production.
This job requires moving props and scenery during the performance of our school show.
This person, preferably an upper P5/6/7 pupil, would be required to attend afterschool rehearsals over the next 2 weeks (dates and times are varied and can be found on the school app) and must be available on both evenings of our school show on Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th June at 7pm. If your child is interested in this role, please email Mrs McNulty danielle.mcnulty@eastayrshire.org.uk or phone the school and state your child’s name and class.
Our P7s and accompanying staff had the best time and made memories that will last a lifetime!
We had such a busy few days, and enjoyed a huge variety of activities ranging from Paddleboarding and Windsurfing to Archery and Team Building.
We feasted like kings and queens with rolls and sausage/bacon/egg for breakfast, soup and rolls for lunch, and burgers and pizza for dinner (in addition to the numerous snacks and endless cups of tea!)
A huge thank you to all the great staff and instructors at the Galloway Activity Centre!
Please keep an eye on Learning Journals for more uploads from Mrs Frew. Here is a wee taster of photos below.

We are extremely grateful to our wonderful Parent Council who were successful in being granted funding from the Small Wind Farms, which was used to cover the cost of swimming lessons for the whole school.
Swimming is a life skill, and water safety is something we, as a school, are keen to promote and support across all stages.
We are very fortunate that we have a super swimming facility within walking distance of our school.
Each child in our school was granted a 4 week block of swimming lessons at no cost to our families, something we know everyone will be extremely grateful for.
We were extremely impressed with the number of participants we had in each class at their weekly lesson and know our children had lots of fun taking part.
Tickets are on sale now for our upcoming Mary Poppins JR show. This is not one to miss! Our children have worked so hard on this and can’t wait to show their friends and family!
If your child is part of the cast, please check the calendar on the School App to check dates and times of our last remaining rehearsals.
Tickets are priced at £5 each. Click on the link below to purchase.
Today we celebrated the end of ‘Walk to School Week’ with a brightly coloured ‘Shorts and Shades’ theme! (We think we planned it perfectly as we got to enjoy the last of the super sunshine today!)
Thank you to everyone for their kind chocolate donations towards this day. Our Parent Council intend to use these to make hampers for our Summer Fayre on Saturday 7th June.
Today, Primary 1/2 got the chance to showcase their learning for us alongside their parents/carers. They entertained us all with their super singing and confident speaking.
