Today we celebrated our Big Scottish Breakfast! We were treated to toast and porridge and even had a visit from SuperTato. Huge thank you to Michelle and the catering team for all their hard work! Remember to send in food bank donations with your child please if you are able.
We are hosting our annual Pupil Big Breakfast on Thursday 12th September. This is to support our learning FOR rights, in relation to article 24 of the UNCRC, the right to food, water and health.
We are looking for any donations of food for the food bank to support our efforts.
Thanks so much to @ealibraries for visiting our school on Friday. The children loved choosing books for the classrooms.  Our partnership with the mobile library van will continue this session bringing reading access to our school and community.  #readingschools

Are you looking for advice on how best to support your child’s communication skills and/or their emotional regulation and sensory needs?
There is now an online service from Penumbra- https://selfharmnetworkscotland.org.uk which can support any young person aged 12 or over. Â For Primary school pupils, parents and carers can also seek advice here.
Self-harm is any non-accidental behaviour which causes, or has the potential to cause, harm to a person. Self-harm is where someone hurts themselves as a way of coping with difficult, distressing or overwhelming feelings or experiences. While we know that self-harm and suicide are linked, we also know that self-harm is often used as a way of surviving distressing experiences and to stay alive.
