Mary Poppins JR Success!

And that’s a wrap!!!

What an amazing experience Mary Poppins JR has been!

I couldn’t be more proud of our incredibly talented children and grateful of the help of my wonderful colleagues, who have all worked so hard to make our school show for 2025 as sensational as it was!

We started with a standing ovation on opening night, what more could we ask for?!

Thank you for all your kind words about our production, your support means so much to us all!

Well done to Aurelia K who won the raffle for the special Mary Poppins coin!

Please enjoy a selection of photos I managed to snap throughout our show nights.

A very proud, Mrs McNulty ❤ x

Mary Poppins JR Stagehands Wanted!

We are looking for volunteers to be the stagehands in our upcoming school production.

This job requires moving props and scenery during the performance of our school show.
This person, preferably an upper P5/6/7 pupil, would be required to attend afterschool rehearsals over the next 2 weeks (dates and times are varied and can be found on the school app) and must be available on both evenings of our school show on Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th June at 7pm. If your child is interested in this role, please email Mrs McNulty danielle.mcnulty@eastayrshire.org.uk or phone the school and state your child’s name and class.

Swimming Lessons

We are extremely grateful to our wonderful Parent Council who were successful in being granted funding from the Small Wind Farms, which was used to cover the cost of swimming lessons for the whole school.

Swimming is a life skill, and water safety is something we, as a school, are keen to promote and support across all stages.

We are very fortunate that we have a super swimming facility within walking distance of our school.

Each child in our school was granted a 4 week block of swimming lessons at no cost to our families, something we know everyone will be extremely grateful for.

We were extremely impressed with the number of participants we had in each class at their weekly lesson and know our children had lots of fun taking part.
