P5M – Exploring Textiles and Technology

As part of our exploration of textiles and technology, P5M have taken a keen interest in how we can link sustainability into all aspects of our lives. For our first task, we took one of our old t-shirts and recycled it by using it create a shopping bag. By making a few simple alterations using a sewing machine, we have repurposed something old into something new and exciting. We will continue with this project before moving on to look at how nature can play a role in enhancing new projects with textiles.
