Dragon Keepers

What an unforgettable year we’ve had in P2S! Our classroom was turned upside down when a mischievous dragon came crashing in, setting us off on an incredible adventure as we trained to become official Dragon Keepers. Along the way, we developed our data handling skills, wrote thoughtful letters, and let our imaginations soar as we designed and created our very own dragons from recycled bottles. We were amazed by our exciting chemical reaction experiment, which brought our dragons to life in a spectacular foaming display! To celebrate all of our hard work and the end of a truly magical year together, we enjoyed some well-earned snacks while watching How to Train Your Dragon. Thank you, P2S, for making this such a special year. Your kindness, enthusiasm, laughter and determination have made every day a joy, and I couldn’t be prouder of everything you’ve achieved. Once a Dragon Keeper, always a Dragon Keeper. 🐉💚 Well done to my AMAZING wee class, you’re the BEST!!!!! Have an awesome holiday!! Lots of love, Miss S 🥰
“Measuring Superstars”
Today P2S became measuring experts using non-standard units of measure. They used cubes, unit cubes, house point cards, pens, Kapla blocks and much more to measure objects around the classroom… they even measured each other and one child was known as Kapla 12 🤣. We even had some smelly sock jokes along the way!! Another FAB day with my wee ‘A’ Team! ❤️

AWESOME AFTERNOON

P2S had an amazing afternoon with some pupils from Stewarton Academy. They were read some super stories and then had the best planned activities. Well done to my awesome wee class and well done and thank you for all the hard work from the high school students. A very successful afternoon ❤️
‘Superb Team Endless Motivation’

P2S had a ball during STEM fortnight learning about climate change and renewable energy. They were mini scientists, technology researchers and photographers, engineers and mathematicians. They even wrote and illustrated their own books. An EXTREMELY proud teacher! Some very challenging tasks and they were successful in them all. Well done AGAIN, my wee ‘A Team’ 🥰
P 2 learned about Renewable Energy

World Book Day

AMAZING effort from P2S, you all looked awesome!!! A lovely day celebrating a love of reading with P5M and Mr Mason (ALMOST as good a class as P2S Mr M 😂)and a good few funny stories and laughs along the way! 📚 ❤️📚 Well done to both classes for making World Book Day so enjoyable! 😘
“And, But, Because……oh my!”

P2S were learning about conjunctions, they went on a “word hunt” then used the conjunction in their sentences. Lots of laughs and so much fun. Well done again, boys and girls! 😘.
“If I could ‘multiply’ them, I would!”

P2S have been learning about multiplication. They built their calculations using concrete materials, wrote multiplication sentences and recorded it as repeated addition too. Then, they wrote the calculations! Without concrete materials. SOOO proud, as usual ☺️. Well done my wee ‘A’ team!
I ‘sense’ a clever wee bunch of Primary 2s
P2S have had a great time exploring their 5 senses. They tasted, smelled and touched various foods and objects. There was a lot of smiles and some wee ‘sour’ faces too 🤣. They were really blown away when they realised their senses weren’t always accurate! Finally, they wrote INCREDIBLE recounts about what that had learned, and what they did. Another AMAZING job from the wee ‘A-Team!’ 😉
