🎨 Stewarton Viaduct Watercolour Art! 🌉

As part of our Our Town topic, Primary 4 have been exploring one of Stewarton’s local landmarks – the viaduct! The children followed step-by-step instructions to carefully sketch the viaduct, adding arches, stonework and surrounding scenery. They then used watercolour paints to bring their beautiful artwork to life. Super creativity and attention to detail! 🖌️🌟

✏️ Spelling Fun! 🔤

Primary 4 had lots of fun practising their spelling words in a different way! The children worked with a partner, carefully tracing spelling words onto each other’s backs and trying to guess the words. This was a fantastic way to practise spelling while developing concentration, teamwork and communication skills. Lots of smiles and laughter! 🌟😊

🚲 Bikeability Success! 🚲🏅

Primary 4 have had a fantastic five weeks taking part in Bikeability! The children have been developing their road awareness and learning how to navigate junctions and roundabouts safely. To celebrate their hard work and effort, every child received a Bikeability certificate! Well done, Primary 4! 🌟👏

Wonderful Mexico Home Learning! 🌵

Primary 4 created fantastic home learning posters as part of our Mexico topic! The children researched interesting facts about Mexico and presented their learning through colourful pictures, drawings and information. We were all so impressed by the creativity, effort and enthusiasm shown. Well done Primary 4!🌟🎨

 

Family Meta-skills Mission Week 1

We would like to invite families to take part in our Family Meta-skills Mission with their child! Through fun, simple challenges, you will work together, get creative, solve problems and discover meta-skills as a family. Meta-skills Monday will begin on Monday 26th October! 🌶️ Making Delicious Salsa! 🍅

Primary 4 had lots of fun making their own delicious salsa! We carefully prepared and mixed fresh ingredients before enjoying a taste of our finished creations with tortilla chips. Yum! 😋

🔷 Exploring Tiling! 🔶

Primary 4 have been exploring tiling patterns in maths. We investigated which shapes can fit together without any gaps or overlaps and used our learning to create our own repeating tiling patterns. Great maths work, Primary 4! ⭐
