This years Junior Road Safety Officers are coming to the end of their time as Leaders of this team. They have worked incredibly hard throughout the year, and their efforts were recognised by Ayrshire Roads Alliance (ARA) on Friday.
Representatives of Ayrshire Roads Alliance contacted Mrs Beveridge to ask if they could come to our school and present certificates. The team were also asked to create a short promotional video to showcase all the fabulous work they’ve done and to highlight the benefits of having a JRSO Team in more schools across Ayrshire.
I would like to say that it has been a privilege to work alongside Amber, Grace, Harry and Travis. I am extremely proud of the dedication and hard work over the campaigns and initiatives we ran this year. A lot of valuable road safety information was researched and shared with everyone at Nether Robertland.
An additional responsibility that the group has, is to choose the next Junior Road Safety Officers for the new term in August. This has now been completed, and I look forward to introducing them to you after the summer.
A big thank you to all our pupils, staff and wider community who have been so supportive; we couldn’t do this without all of your enthusiasm and engagement!
Many thanks
Miss McMillan
