As this term comes to an end we would like to say a huge,
to:
Our fantastic staff – those who work in the kitchen, our cleaners, our janitor, EAST support staff, all of our classroom assistants, our clerical staff and our teaching staff. This has been a challenging year and each and every one of you have risen to overcome these. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts for all that you do each and every day. We hope that you enjoy a well-deserved rest over the summer.
To our Primary 7 children it is with great pride that we get to say ‘Good Luck’ to you in the future. Do not forget us, you will always be part of our Mount Carmel family.
To our new Primary 1 children we can’t wait to welcome you into our family in August.
To our amazing parents, thank you, for all of your support throughout the year. Enjoy the time with your family over this holiday period.
To Father Martin, Sister Mabel, Sister Juliet and Sister Rose, thank you, for supporting us on our faith journey.
And finally…
Thank you
…to our amazing children, you are reason that we come to work every day. We thank you for your smiles, love and laughter. Have a fantastic break and we look forward to welcoming you all back in August.
A reminder that gift bags for our new Primary 1 children are available outside the main front door.
This includes a personalised story from their P6 buddy, a Primary 1 yearbook with photographs of classmates, a note with their house name as well as some lovely summer gifts.
This is the last day for collection and will be available until noon today.
Firstly thank you for the very generous gift I received today. I was overwhelmed and I promise I’ll treat myself and not just Baby T.
Tomorrow is the last day of Primary 6 and I think we’re all in the mood for a party, so that’s exactly what we’re going to do!
I’ve had a wonderful year in Primary 6. You have all worked hard and have been excellent learners. I am proud of each and every one of you for the resilience you’ve shown despite the difficult year.
Well done to the P6 who will be our House and Vice Captains next school year. I am proud of all the children who put themselves forward for a Captain position. There will be plenty of other responsibility roles in P7.
The P6 wrote wonderful stories for their P1 buddies which went home in the new P1 gift bags. I know you’ll be excellent buddies when the time comes.
Have an amazing holiday and I’ll see you when you’re back as the new P7.
Miss Mudge

From August there will be some changes to the entrance gates and lining up areas for each class.
P1, P1/2 and P2/3 should enter the school grounds from the side Infant Gate.
P4 – 7 should enter the school grounds from the Main Gate.
Please look at the map below to see where your child’s class should line up at 9.00am each morning. This is also the door from which they will be dismissed at 3.00pm.
We ask that no parents/carers are in the playground for morning drop off. New P1 parents/carers only will be in the playground for the first full week (23rd – 27th August).
At afternoon pick up parents/carers are asked to wait in the playground area closest to their child’s access door. Please remember to wear face coverings and socially distance from other families at these times.
Thank you, as always, for your ongoing support.
