This week, we kicked off our first after-school netball club for Primary 5, 6, and 7 pupils, and what a fantastic start it was! St. Joseph’s held a very successful Coffee Afternoon as a McMillan Cancer fundraiser. Our Enterprise Group took on leadership responsibility to organise the event, supported by Mrs Mann who chairs the group. To celebrate Maths Week Scotland, our pupils took their mathematical curiosity outside! Today, the focus was on exploring square numbers, triangular numbers, and the fascinating Fibonacci Sequence. Over the past two weeks, our P5-7 pupils have been having a fantastic time participating in badminton lessons during their lunch breaks, thanks to a collaboration with Active Schools! These sessions are taking place at the Ryan Centre and have brought so much energy and excitement to our school.
