πŸŽƒ Halloween Craft Afternoon with Donna Westbrook! πŸŽƒ

What a fantastic way to kick off Term 2! This afternoon, the whole school came together for some Halloween fun and creativity with a special visit from Donna Westbrook. πŸ‘»πŸ§‘

We started the afternoon by meeting in our assembly groups to complete our MetaSkills slips, sharing the skills we’re most proud of and thinking about what we’d like to build on this term. It was lovely to see so many thoughtful reflections and proud smiles! 🌟

Then the fun really began – everyone got the chance to paint mini pumpkins that Donna kindly brought along for us. 🎨 The designs were amazing – from spooky faces to sparkly creations! These will be judged anonymously tomorrow, and we can’t wait to see the results. Some children are leaving theirs to dry overnight to add the finishing touches in the morning. 🧑

There were also lots of Halloween pictures to colour, and our P7 pupils worked hard decorating the classroom to make it look wonderfully spooky for the occasion! πŸ‘»πŸ•·οΈ

A huge thank you to Ava W and Myra for helping with the washing up afterwards – great teamwork and responsibility! πŸ’ͺ

And of course, a massive thank you to Donna Westbrook for visiting us and bringing so many lovely resources and ideas for our amazing children. Everyone had a brilliant afternoon full of fun, laughter, and creativity! πŸŽƒβœ¨
