Senior pupils from Portpatrick Primary School and St Joseph’s Primary School enjoyed an action-packed residential experience at Barcaple on 12 and 13 January as part of the West Rhins Partnership. Today, our school community came together for a very special send-off as we said goodbye to Mr Nisbet after 16 years of loyal service as our much-loved lollipop man. Our pupils are taking positive action to help keep our community safe! We were delighted to welcome our local police officers, who joined forces with our children to raise awareness about the importance of slowing down near our school. Together, with road safety signage, they’re encouraging drivers travelling along Lewis Street to stick to 20mph and help make our area safer for everyone. Our pupils had a wonderful time at the PCDT Christmas Party this weekend. Our Primary 7 pupils had an exciting opportunity to take part in a Curling’s Cool session at the North West Castle Hotel! 🥌 The children were introduced to the fundamentals of curling and quickly got into the spirit of the game.
