P7 Curling’s Cool

Our Primary 7 pupils had an exciting opportunity to take part in a Curling’s Cool session at the North West Castle Hotel! 🥌

The children were introduced to the fundamentals of curling and quickly got into the spirit of the game. They were placed into mixed teams and played a series of “ends” games, learning essential skills such as sweeping and controlling the stones.

It was fantastic to see teamwork, concentration, and plenty of enthusiasm on the ice. This hands-on experience gave pupils a real taste of one of Scotland’s most iconic sports, and they all left with big smiles and new skills.

Our pupils put in a sterling effort, learning new skills and strategies. They can be very proud of their efforts. Our thanks go to Gail for organising and hosting the event and to all the coaches that made the session such an enjoyable experience.

Well done, P7 – you rocked the rink!
