This week P4G were out in the school playgroup looking for various 2D shapes. We had a lot of fun doing this and our next task is to look for 3D shapes.

It was lovely to see everyone back to school this week, looking all shiny and fresh faced. There’s a great atmosphere around school as we begin the work of embedding our new Vision, Values and Aims.
Teachers and learners will be developing their new class pages for this year – use the ‘Pupils Pages’ menu to have a look.
Remember to keep checking back here for updates about events in school, learning and activities to try at home.

Recently P3M made a visit to our local Tesco supermarket to learn all about what Tesco workers do for their job. We learned many things about the different jobs that people have within Tesco’s We even got to try being a checkout cashier for the morning! Most importantly we got to taste some of their yummy homemade bread! Thank you to all the staff at Tesco’s and parent helpers who supported us – without you we wouldn’t have experienced this fantastic day.

Thank you P5R for your great assembly this morning. It was brilliant to see so many different ways in which you have been learning all about Scotland. My favourite part was definitely the rainy day soundscape – it was fab! Well done!
Thanks also to all of the parents, carers, family and friends who were able to come along to support and to share the learning!
There should be some photo’s appearing soon!

Congratulations to our fantastic P6 football team who today qualified for the finals of the Scottish Schools Football Association (@sschoolsfa) Junior Soccer 7s Competition. They played against seven other teams from the area, including teams from Ayrshire and Lanarkshire. We look forward to seeing how well they do as they play in the finals later in the year!
Thank you to Mr Newlands who braved the cold wind and rain alongside the boys and saw them through to the finals.
