Primary 7M took part in the University of Edinburgh’s challenge for maths week. It was called ‘The Shannon Switching Game’. We all tried to find solutions to see if it was easier to be a ‘cutter’ or a ‘joiner’. You can see some of our photos below. We discussed whether it mattered who started each game, the layout of the games and if anyone had an advantage in each game.
