Police Visit
Plants!
Primary 1, 2 and 3 children have been investigating and learning about plants in and around the school as part of their living things topic. They have been drawing pictures in the playground, examining the different parts of plants and seeds and made beautiful mosaic pictures using plants and leaves.
Here are some pictures of them investigating.
Star Pupils
Congratulations Sarah
Daisy Chain
Yesterday was a beautiful day. Many children worked together at lunch to make a daisy chain. This shows the results of team work.
Keith Haring’s birthday
It’s Keith Haring’s birthday today: he would have been 54. Google’s celebrating –
As it happens Mrs Starkey has been working with P4-7, who have been composing their own pieces 0f work in this style. Here’s a couple of nice examples that will be made into a display, more of which will hopefully follow on the blog.
PFA Meeting
Please come along to the next meeting to be held on Thursday 10th May at 7.30 pm in the school. Will be looking at ideas towards the jubilee celebration and fundraising ideas. Help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Teddy Bears Picnic
Primary 1 to 3 had a brilliant time on their Teddy Bears Picnic at Hoddom Castle on the last day of term. Thank you to Ranger Duncan who took us round the grounds and set up lots of fun games for the children.
Here are some pictures from our visit.
