Home Learning Week 4

Another week already?!

I hope you are all well and keeping safe. I miss you all so so much!

I have updated this weeks Home Learning Grid and it is also saved on our Teams.

Home Learning P12(4)

If you are having difficulty accessing our Teams page, I have previously done a blog on how to access it. I can also give you your child’s login details if you don’t have these.

I will also post daily learning on the blog for keeping everyone up to date.

Monday 27th April 2020

PE

9am -9:30am Joe Wickes daily workouts on YouTube.

Literacy

Keep reading daily or listening to stories. If you are reading a book to your child, ask lots of questions about characters and events in the book to make sure they are listening ☺️ This will also develop key comprehension skills. Reading can consist of books, instructions, comics, magazines or listening to audio books online. YouTube have lots of selections. Rainbow fish is one of my favourites!

Numeracy and Maths

Today’s Number Talk Challenge:

Try to use at least 6 strategies! Keep persevering – you can do it 😀

Measurement and Estimation

Find 10 objects in your house.
Estimate first how long you think it might be.

Measure object using ruler, measuring tape or other resources (2 spoons, 10 grapes or 3 cereal bars).

Have a great week everyone 🙂

Love,

Miss Mackay

Home Learning – Week 1

Good Morning everyone 🙂

I hope you all had a lovely Easter holiday given the circumstances. It still feels strange to be typing this blog post instead of getting ready to see all the children again. I hope you’re all well and staying safe.

I have updated the Home Learning Grid with some new ideas/activities for the weeks ahead.

Home Learning P12(2)

This can also be found in the ‘Files’ section on Microsoft Teams. If you look in the different folders you will also find different activities to try out. There is a folder labelled Powerpoints with some resources inside it too.

If you have any questions or queries, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me via comments in this blog, Twitter or Teams.

It’s just such a weird time but we’ll get through it together 🙂

Thanks,

Ellie x
