outdoor day – junior area

Today we interviewed the junior area about their outdoor day.

I interviewed Milania from P3A.

She said her favourite thing to do was make a hot cross bun and she was being a Resilient Racoon.  She would like more outdoor days like this.                                      Everyone looked like they loved it and was having lots of fun. And I thought  they where being challenge cheetahs because they were managing to know their fire safety, make hot cross buns and use a metal knife.

What are you learning in class? -Junior area.

They were doing Literacy, they were writing about a Gorilla called George playing tennis. It was described in the sentence on the board, that George hit the ball very hard, and that it went far.

Concentrating and not getting distracted helps them focus when writing. They think not getting distracted helps them while doing work, and the pupil said that it helps them focus best when it is quiet.

The pupil that we talked to, said that they don’t really like doing writing because, it makes their hand hurt a bit.
