In math some of them like doing different strategy’s to help them like chimney sums , step method and grid method. For their context they are learning about war. Their favourite thing to do is spelling test & painting still life in curios cat time. The material’s they use are text book, videos, going outside. Their fun thing is PE, running around and ball sports. In context they were researching about different wars.
Creativity week fun
Transition art
On Thursday we went to the beach and collected materials to make a collaborative art piece. We made a forest themed piece of art and also an under the sea. Our favourite was the Ocean theme! We got to use acorns leaves gloves twigs rocks and litter, also shells. In order to get the gloves we used the to pick up the litter then used them.
Origami frog
On Wednesday we made origami frogs that actually jump. In order to make them we used green card and then folded it to get the structure of the frog! After a while we started to see the resemblance of a frog. A few folds after the frog was completed and ready to jump.
Red nose
On Wednesday before we made the origami frogs we made red noses and designed them and I made very cool nose but I didn’t get picked to be judged in the hall but Ajay, Jessica and Riley got through and they all got a chocolate lollypop.
Creativity Week
In creativity week we did:
- there was a man that was dancing that was called Andie.
- we went to the Academy
- camaflouge back round and chameleon
We did lots more stuff but we chose these three to write about.
With Andie we did boxing dancing the music was Indian. We performed it to half of the extension. We did this ten word challenge that was a part of the periodic table.
At the academy we did lots of posters for some of the houses and the rights of the child. Then we did a human treasure hunt. We did a a big tower out of paper and we played rounders. There was other schools there, we also got put into groups with different people.
We did a camouflage background out of paper leaves and we had to do a step by step how to draw a chameleon. After that was done we coloured it in and glued it on the background.
