Reflect, Rebuild and Reconnect

For many of us, adults and children, returning to school may involve a sigh of relief and we may want to think that the world is returning to how it was, but it is important to acknowledge we may have been changed by the experience of lockdown.  There are many things that are the same, but there are many things that for the time being may become our ‘new normal’.  We will need to recognise and give time for this and be kind to ourselves and others.  In an ever-changing context it is important to remember some key messages that can support whatever our individual and collective needs may be.

REFLECT – This section is intended to help you consider where we are now, focus on what we all have experienced and think about where we go from here.

REBUILD – This section is intended to help you look at the thinking around how to help our school community rebuild.

RECONNECT – This section is about the progress we made in maintaining relationships throughout Lockdown and what we need to prioritise moving forward.
