Smoothie Bike hits Westfield!
As part of our Health and Wellbeing fortnight, our P7 Health Champions organised for the Smoothie bike to visit our school. Shona from Together for Health came along and worked with Reece and Keegan with each class to learn how to make healthy smoothies and blend them using the Smoothie Bike. Everyone enjoyed the process and learned lots of interesting information about which colour of fruits help which part of our body….. and the smoothies tasted great too!!!

Big Dance at Westfield!
As part of our cluster Healthywealth games and in the build up to the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, pupils at Westfield have bee working together to learn the Big Dance which is part of the Commonwealth Legacy. All pupils worked extremely hard to learn the steps and practiced regularly to achieve a fantastic result.
The whole school gathered in the school hall on Friday 16th May 2014 to perform the BIG Dance in Westfield, while people all over the world performed their versions simultaneously.
We hope you enjoy watching our performance. (click on the text below picture)
