Primary 1 Weekly Learning Reflection W/E 10th June 2022

Good afternoon. P1 have had a very busy and productive week. The week has been packed full of different fitness activities. We have taken part in fitness stations, played playground games such as dodge ball, taking part in athletics where we did running, throwing and jumping, played golf, did our fun run and took part in Judo. Photos have been posted on Twitter. Ask us what our favourite activity was.

In Literacy we have focused on red words this week. Red words are common words such as there. We looked for red words in a wordsearch, played roll and read, played snakes and ladders, wrote the red words and made them on our magnetic boards.

In Numeracy and Maths, we have been looking at money and exploring giving change from 10p and counting amounts up to 20p. We have counted money in purses and piggy banks, played change please on the computers and also played at shops.
