Netball Success!

Congratulations to our P7 Netball team who have had a very successful month. The team won the South Livingston Netball League and the West Lothian Primary School Netball Tournament.

Our Netball club started back in September and has ran on Wednesdays continuously throughout the school year. A huge thank you to Mr Millar and Mrs Gall for running this club and taking pupils to after school events.

Christmas Curling 2022

Pupils from primary 5, 6 and 7 took part in a fun but competitive Christmas indoor curling competition. There were 14 teams participating in the Primary 7 event!

All of the pupils played some excellent curling with great sportsmanship. There were lots of successful takeouts, guards, tap ins and draws being thrown!

Congratulations to our P5, 6 and 7 winning teams!

Sportshall Athletics

On Wednesday morning, 23 of our Primary 7 pupils represented us at the West Lothian ‘East Conference’ Sportshall Athletics event. All of the children did an excellent job competing in 13 different events against 7 other schools. Everyone was a credit to our school!

Primary One PE – Tennis

Our primary one pupils have had a great time pretending to make pancakes in PE! The children have been using the tennis rackets and beanbags to develop their hand-eye coordination, gross and fine motor skills. Our little chefs were shaking, flipping and catching their pancakes.

Primary One PE

The primary one pupils have made an excellent start to PE by learning all the gym hall routines and safety rules. They have also been developing their catching, bouncing, running, dribbling, jumping and skipping. All of the children have enjoyed learning the ‘banana dance’ warm up. They might even be able to teach it to you at home!

Over the next couple of weeks, we will be exploring passing, throwing and rolling balls at targets.

Mr. Millar
