Profiling in P6

We were fortunate enough to have a visit from some members of P7A today. They were sharing their learning and experiences of using a Profile folder on One Note. A profile is a snapshot of a young person’s best achievements at a given point in time. The content of the profile is decided by the young person following a conversation with their teacher or key adult. This is a great opportunity for the class to showcase their achievements and work they are proud of. The class are taking real ownership of the profiling process by choosing not only what they incude in the folder but also when. Each piece of work will be labelled with an explanation to why they have chosen a particular piece of work. The profile is divided into 4 sections

  • Maths/Numeracy
  • Literacy
  • Health and Wellbeing
  • Other Curricular Areas

The profile will be populated termly

Christmas Curling 2022

Pupils from primary 5, 6 and 7 took part in a fun but competitive Christmas indoor curling competition. There were 14 teams participating in the Primary 7 event!

All of the pupils played some excellent curling with great sportsmanship. There were lots of successful takeouts, guards, tap ins and draws being thrown!

Congratulations to our P5, 6 and 7 winning teams!
