Thank you to all parents who attended ‘ Meet the Teacher’ session last week, it was nice to chat to you all. A reminder to send gym kit with your child on a Wednesday and a Thursday .

Big Family Breakfast

The Breakfast Club would like to invite families to come along and enjoy a family breakfast together on Wednesday 19th September from 8.10-8.45am. (please note the change of date from original date in newsletter)

We look forward to seeing you there!

YOUR KIDS NEED YOU!

Please come along to our ‘Meet and Eat’ on 10th September at 6pm in Deans Primary School Hall.

This is a chance to meet new and existing parents/carers and to get to share your views and ideas on how we can work together to make Deans Primary the best in West Lothian.
The AGM will take place at the event but will be short and sweet.
We are looking forward to seeing you all, parents, grandparents, aunties and all, anyone with a connection to the school is very welcome.

To give us an idea of numbers please RSVP to the school.

Thank you very much

Budding Engineers!

We had a visit from Mr Leckie, a civil engineer from Aecom, who came to present certificates and prizes to some of our pupils for their innovative entries in the ‘Imagineers’ competition. The pupils had to come up with an invention that could help solve a problem in the world – our winners included ‘ The helping hand’ which is a robot that distributes medicine in remote or war torn areas, the ‘Plastic Picker’ which trawls the bottom of the ocean removing and recycling plastic and the ‘Automatic Claw 31000’ which scans and sorts rubbish to promote recycling. Well done everyone!!
