We are also now launching “happy packs” for older children and adults. These contain a positive statement in a frame, a journalling notebook and pen, a smiley badge and a positive sticker, These cost £5.00

P7 will be selling these on Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday from now till Easter

As a special offer for book week you will get a free book mark!

“1-2 Corona Crew” successes!

Our P7 lockdown business enterprise is doing well- having sold out all 20 packs we had made in our first 2 days!

We have since bought more stock and have another 20 packs in quarantine ready for sale tomorrow or Friday!

Packs contain reusable masks, hand gel, wipes and tissues. This comes in a reusable wipe clean plastic wallet folder- which is great for storing in a bag or in the car!

Packs cost £4 each (or special introductory offer of 3 for £10 – which finishes this Friday!) You can order by emailing Mrs Rodden, phoning the office or bringing cash in an envelope to school . P7 will be happy to serve you!

We are also keen to share our success beyond Deans Primary and are holding a write a letter competition for our P7s. Their challenge is to write a letter to The First Minister, to highlight the skills they are learning – and maybe sell a few more packs in the parliament!!

We thank you for supporting us in promoting our business and Corona virus care!

Writing in a persuasive way (P6/5)

Today in P6/5  we were learning how to do persuasive writing. We looked at our blog to help us think about why we need blogs. A small group of pupils are writing this for you.

We think blogs are important because it helps us know what is happening in our school and when. For example, this week we have Christmas lunch and Christmas jumper day. It helps us use computers and check our writing makes sense. We need to know about computers for now if we need to be on teams.

Some people say you might get sore eyes, get addicted to computers or be distracted from other work.

We still think we should use the blog because it can be fun and interesting for our classes and parents!

Do you change?

Do the woods around you change as you walk?

Do you walk through with other friends?

Or do you meet friends on the other side of the tunnel?

Use your imagination and create your own story from looking at this picture!
