P6/5 Daily Plan

Writing: We will do a check in at 9:15, followed by discussing what we have been doing in writing  We will then watch Ms Taylor’s video in preparation for our lesson. It is available on YouTube here

You can use both videos and pause them as you need to.

Numeracy: LI To multiply a (2) 3 digit number (money) by a 1 digit number

  • Look at the TJ 2a page 71 (multiplication only). The teach is on page 70. Don’t forget to put the decimal place into the answer! If you think it is too easy for you do the maths challenge below.
  • If you find 2a difficult try 1b then 2a
  • If you find 1b difficult try 1a then 1b

IDL and Personal Topic: 1:30 Meeting What do you want to do? I still think making a video would be great fun. We will discuss your ideas. Please make sure that you read the separate sheets about these.

Reading:. I don’t think many of you have done the follow up activity of Questioner from Literacy Circles. Please find a book that you like and silently read it. We will ask each other questions about the books we are reading. Again just use the sheet as support but write the work into your jotters.

If you have done everything else do Education City. Or “Think you know”
