Today all the Clans had the opportunity to get outdoors, braving the rain, and plant bulbs. We were really excited to spend time with different Clans – Ben Lawers and Ben Lomond should be so proud of the support they gave to younger children in our community.
We did this to play our part in the nationwide Edina Bulb Project – you can find out a little more about this by clicking here. We were really excited to explore our learning about the needs of a plant even further and cannot wait to see these bulbs begin to sprout in spring!
We have loved welcoming our Nursery Children over the past 2 weeks. Next week from Monday 1st November – Thursday 4th November Calderwood Nursery will take part in Calderwood Nursery Pioneer Celebrations.
AM Neon Disco – 10am-11am Monday 1st November
PM Neon Disco – 2pm-3pm Tuesday 2nd November
Full day children will have the opportunity to attend one of the Neon Disco slots
Opening Celebrations will take place over Wednesday 3rd and Thursday 4th throughout the days

This week is WL Running Week. Our partner Active Schools have set us a challenge to complete a running race of various distances. Our results will be shared across West Lothian up against the other schools.
We’ve also been working on these 3 challenge questions to stimulate our interest in running and its benefits.
