Calderwood Magic Miles 2022

Our Calderwood Magic Miles fundraiser was a huge success. We would like to give special thanks to our Parent Council for organising and to all our children, families and champions who took part. You racked up a phenomenal amount of miles and raised a significant amount of money which will be used to develop our Outdoor Learning at Calderwood.

School £4,859.85

All children involved received a special Calderwood Magic Miles Certificate today as recognition of your great achievement. We celebrating this success at Calderwood Connects today.

Community Information: Appeals for Ukraine

Some advice from our Parent Council
Many parents have been in touch looking to see what we can do to support and help those in need in Ukraine.
We want to be sensitive with drawing attention to this, with some children whose families would rather not make them aware of what is going on as it would cause distress, however there are still many ways in which families can help.
If you would like to help please find below some links that may be useful.

Please add at the top of your sponsor sheet, ‘miles completed’ to allow us to total up, so we can see how far we have travelled.

Please can all donations be handed into the nursery/ school by 31st March.

Dress Down Day – 11th February

Dear parent/ carer,
A gentle reminder that tomorrow (Friday 11th February) is a dress down day fundraiser, we would request that children don’t wear crop tops or football strips. Any donations would be greatly received for school funds.
