Some wonderful learning took place during Book Week Scotland in Ben Lomond Clan.
During our Stag Starts, we participated in a range of creative activities based on our favourite books and our clan novel, The Last Bear by Hannah Gold. We recreated book covers, constructed setting dioramas and developed character profiles.
During drama, we looked at various fairy tales and acted out the storyline from another character’s perspective.
As our current reading focus is questioning, we worked together to create a quiz centred around the stories explored throughout the week.
Our fun-filled week ended with a surprise visit from Miss Small who read to us during ‘milk and story’ time.
