A huge thank you to the parents, friends and community of Bellsquarry for attending our first community coffee morning. Our community coffee mornings will be running next session, one a month – dates will be given out at the beginning of next session.

At each coffee morning there will be focus on a different charity, with presentations about the charity. All donations raised at the coffee morning will be donated to the chosen charity. It will also be a chance for each class to get involved in organising the coffee morning –  advertising, serving refreshments, selling merchandise, etc.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Miss Scales and P6 this week who helped organise this week’s event. A thank you to Mrs England for presenting the charity ‘Jak’s Den’. Thanks to Mrs Jones, Mrs Reid, Mrs Cooper and Mrs Hood (Miss Hood’s mum) for helping with refreshments.

What a  great success! We are looking forward to our next Community Coffee Morning. If you have any charity ideas please do not heitate to contact the school office.
