We have been learning how to get the best value for money by spending our profit from our Christmas Enterprise. We compared prices in different shops and online retailers and decided which was the best value taking into account delivery costs and special offers. We added up our costs and worked out how much we had left to spend or how much we had to save to stay within our budget. We wrote instructions on how to spend money wisely by applying our functional writing skills that we had learned this week. We bought lego and board games for our class using click and collect and an online retailer. Mrs Green collected our board games last night and we enjoyed playing with them at Golden Time! The rest of our purchases will be delivered next week – we can’t wait!
