This week we have been finding out about why and how Mary Queen of Scots died. We discovered that she was executed however it is not clear whether or not this was fair. In class we looked at some of the reasons behind this and had to give our own opinion.
We have also been doing addition, bridging numbers, within our maths work. We have looked at different strategies to help us when working with bigger numbers. For example, 1800 + 900 could be thought of as 18 + 9. This would help us to find the answer, which is 2700!
