Bellsquarry Primary School

Primary 6

Our first 2 weeks have been very busy in Primary 6. On our first couple of days in P6, Miss Hood introduced us to our new classroom. We have been very busy doing lots of things. Here are some things we have been up to…

We were writing our book reviews and designing our book covers. We have also been setting our SMART targets for this term. On Monday we got our diaries for James Young High School. They help us get used to going into high school. We designed our book marks for our ERIC books (which means Everyone Reading In Class!). We have been introduced to our new topic… The Victorians! And in just ONE day we have learned so much about how children went to school and how Queen Victoria turned the poor into rich and wealthy. We have also designed our stars in the making to go on to the wall outside our classroom. In science we have been learning about our senses and how they work like how our eyes adjust to the light.

As you can see we have been very busy…and we are now looking forward to a well-earned rest over the weekend (well Miss Hood is anyway!).
