Well done to everyone who learned their Scots poem. After judging all of the pupils performances (which was extremely difficult), Finn, Ben and Leo successfully made it through to the school finals.
In the final, Ben recited ‘Crocodile’ whilst Finn recited ‘Nessie’ and Leo recited ‘Helter-Skelter’. The judging panel commended all three performances and cited their level of enthusiasm and accompanying actions which made them stand out. In the end the judges chose Ben as the winner, with Finn and Leo as runners up.
Here you can see our successful poets under the watchful eye of their new classmate, one ‘William Wallace’.
