I know most of you will be out in the snow having fun but when you come in and get out of your wet clothes and have a hot cup of foaming milk or chocolate, remember it’s World Book Day.
Perhaps as you are warming up, you could
- Practise reading aloud your chosen passage from your book. Remember we’ll be reading them in class next week so be sure to work upon your expression;
- Make a list of places where people are most likely to read;
- Create a book character from snow;
- Design a picture/scene from your favourite book in the snow;
- Create your own reading quiz to share with the class;
- Create a biography about your favourite author;
- Turn your favourite story into a comic strip;
- Re-tell your favourite story in exactly 10 words;
- Create a new front cover for your favourite book;
