Believe it or not, we had a group of children standing in the rain at 7:30am on a cold, dark Saturday morning. They were waiting for a bus to take them to the Sunderland Vs Arsenal game in the Premier League.

After several hours on the bus, we arrived at the Stadium of Light and promptly sat down for a picnic. After a visit to the club shop we took our seats for the game. At the end of ninety minutes we had witnessed a true goal-fest, although Mr Todd’s mood, as a Sunderland fan, had taken a hit!

After a few hours on the bus and a quick stop in McDonalds for something to eat, we finally arrived back. What a great day out!
