This week we have been learning French names for some animals. We found out that a cat is un chat, a dog is un chien and a goldfish is un poisson rouge.
In our topic work we have been looking at similarities and differences between the island of Coll and the mainland. We have also drawn our own detailed portraits of Granny Mainland.
It will soon be Chinese New Year and we listened to the story of how the years were named after different animals. We learned about some customs and are going to make our own lucky money envelopes.
We also enjoyed a performance by Travelling Tuba and a musical presentation by Primaries 4,5 and 6.
