On Wednesday Primary 2 were very excited to take part in a whole day music workshop. Mr Troughton played a variety of musical games with us, including keeping a steady beat and listening to pieces of music to identify fast, slow, loud, soft, high and low rhythms. We got to see the inside of a piano and learned a little about sound vibrations. Then we all contributed to making up our very own sound story about a little boy and his granny who met a dragon! We got to play a variety of instruments such as Djembe drums, guitar strings, shakers, Indian bells, woodblocks and glockenspiels.The highlight of our day was presenting our sound story to Primary 1 and Primary 3 from Mrs Clegg`s class. We hope they enjoyed our performance as much as we enjoyed sharing it with them.
