We are all very excited to be starting a new year in Primary One.  The children came back seeming to have grown up a whole bunch over the holidays.

We did not waste any time getting straight back into our hard work.  Here is a summary of what we’ve done in a short two and a half days.

Literacy – building sentences

Maths – adding numbers to 10 using ten frames and screens

PE – the Canadian Barn dance (of course!)

It is important, especially this term, that the pupils get lots of rest and exercise, eat well and drink water so that their brains are ready for learning.
