Last week, P3 pupils visited the Larder Kitchen to find out more about chocolate for our Charlie and the Chocolate Factory topic. We learned about the ingredients for chocolate, what happens to chocolate when it is heated/cooled, about how important maths is for cooking (measuring amounts and temperatures, dividing, multiplying, timing) and learned new skills in the kitchen! Thank you to the staff at the Larder Kitchen who taught us lots more about chocolate! We enjoyed being able to surprise our invited guests with our chocolate baskets after our Assembly.
