This week we’ve been  very busy working on our maths challenges. We worked with the laptops and  learned how to log on to Education City and complete lots of new games, helping us to practice our 2,5 and 10 times tables. We have been finding out about the properties of  3D shapes and will be creating some of our own next week.

In Health lessons, we’ve been revisiting the importance of Road Safety and will be going outside next week to demonstrate what we know about the Green Cross Code.

Art lessons have been great fun! We completed our Pointillism  pictures and love the display in our classroom which you can see at Meet The Teacher evening.

Our Rainforest world is taking shape.We’ve created lots of different leaf shapes with Mrs Martin, learning how to blend colours.  Lots of boys and girls have brought in animals, books, puzzles, lego models and pictures to add to our fabulous collection ! We love listening to Rainforest sounds as we’re working and have some amazing  videos on the smartboard that make us feel as if we’re really in the Rainforest!
