Today, we were part of an once-in-a-lifetime solar eclipse. A solar eclipse is basically the result the moon moving between us on Planet Earth and the sun. Today, instead of the sun’s bright light at break time, we saw only the moon’s shadow.
It went really dark, so dark that the sky looked like night time. The temperature also dropped and it became much colder. Some of us thought that the whole world was in darkness, but in reality, the solar eclipse only affected part of the Earth, and not all at the same time.
We also made pin hole projectors to help us see the eclipse. If was cloudy, but a few of us managed to see it on our paper.
