This week we have been learning about Roman schools. We found out that children wrote on a wax tablet using a stylus to write with.
We also have been calculating sums using Roman numerals. We learned that V is 5, X is 10, L is 50, C is 100, D is 500 and M is 1000! Some of our sums were really tricky so we worked with a partner to find the answers to these.
Next week we are going to find out about Roman roads.
