Bellsquarry Primary School

Reflections from P1

A glance into Primary One this past week…

We designed and created our own toys for our topic wall. It was a fun afternoon of inspiration!

Some of us finished off our primary colours picture ready to display in the cloakroom.

In our literacy, we learned new tricky words and added them to our ‘tricky word wall’.

For a mental maths challenge, we counted by 2 and by 5. Some of the pupils even made it to 100!

We tried something new in problem solving that involved very careful listening. Some of the pupils found that a real challenge indeed.

In PE we did cardio exercises and checked for our heart rates.

In science, we did an experiment about forces and also a fun worksheet looking at push and pull.

There are many more things we could add here but the children say that this is enough for now. Until next time!
