This week we have been working on fractions. We were looking at finding equivalent fractions, for example 1/2 is the same as 3/6. Everyone did very well!
Within our literacy work we have been retelling the story of ‘The Great Race’ from the Chinese Zodiac. Our success criteria included writing in the past tense, including at least 5 WOW words and writing from another character’s point of view.
In our Chinese lessons we have made beautiful Chinese paper cuttings to put on the window. They are traditionally made to celebrate Chinese New Year. We really enjoyed making these and are looking forward to our next lesson.
