We are having lots of fun during health week. We have been learning new football skills and some more gymnastic moves.
Primary 1 Health Week
So far, we have enjoyed learning about healthy eating and the five sections of the Eatwell Plate – Fruit and vegetables, starchy foods, protein rich foods, dairy foods and fatty/sugary foods. We have learned that we need some of all these foods to have a healthy, balanced diet.
On Monday, we had a football session with Scott. We had great fun while having exercise.
On Wednesday, we had gymnastics with Nicola and Jenny.
We had lots of fun!
We tried yoga on Friday.

Building our minibeast hotel – P3/4
Today we got to build our minibeast hotel. During our topic we have been learning about different minibeasts and their habitats. We also collected lots of materials on our trips to Polkemmet Country Park. Even though it was raining we just put on our jackets and got to work. We had to think how to put all the materials in to work for different minibeasts and look nice too. We are looking forwards to seeing who moves in.
